Functional Description:
Provides for the partial replacement of a section of the diffuser case aft skirt including the rear outer flange. Repair proceedures c/o partial removal of aft outer skirt by machining, sizing of the repair detail, welding the detail to the parent case, a heat treat cycle, and shot peen of the repaired area, test specimens (almen strips) are required to set up and check the shot peen equipment and schedule prior to peening the repaired case
