The joint threat warning system ground sigint kit, an/prd-14, provides situational awareness and threat avoidance. Information derived from received signals of interest can be analyzed by the operator and relayed to team members as necessary. The an/prd-14 includes the software and hardware that comprise a manpackable system (mps) and a body worn system (bws). Both the mps and bws utilize several common items: controller modules, receiver modules, and tuner modules. The mps includes: power conditioner base unit, ethernet module, operators control unit, and special signal processor with associated antennas (flexmaster, long wire, gps, and direction finding).
