Functional Description:
The eplrs grid reference radio set functions as a relay for other radio sets providing encrypted communications with the net control station (ncs) an/tsq-158a and an/tsq-158b, via ufh skywave electromagnetic radiation to determine the precise location of users. The grid reference radio set is operated from the selectable power adapter utilizing either an auxiliary battery box or from a 120 volt, 50 or 60 hz power source.
