17 inches square with hemmed edges; lightweight absorbent cotton material; subdued green od7; material shall be submitted for approval prior to construction; finished product will carry a black cross measuring one inch high by 1/2 inch across, plus or minus 1/16 inch; cross will be embroidered in the horizontal center 6-1/4 inches from bottom edge of cloth; thread shall be 150/2 denier rayon, bright luster multifillament, black color; or equivalent commercial item
