General Description:
Carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, analyzer with model 3371b integrator and built-in printer 18989a and model 7123a recorder; 115 volts, 60 hertzs, analysis time 5 min total, two-zone type with inner oven and outer shell, each independently temperature-controlled, temperature control of oxidation furnace variable voltage transformer, adjustable to 1050 degrees c. Reduction furnace: variable voltage transformer, adjustable 400 to 600 degrees c. Oven: thermostat controller, adjustable ambient to 150 degrees c. Shell: thermostat controller, adjustable ambient to 150 degrees c. Pyrometer graduated 0-1200 degrees c. And five-position selector switch for readout of four positions plus ambient. Detector: four-filament thermal conductivity type equipped with current adjustment, bridge balance and output attenuation of control, accuracy is comparable to pregl and dumas methods based on test analyses with nbs standards
