As a minimum apparatus will include; test cup, heating plate, ignition source applicator, heater, temperature measuring device, temperature measuring device support, and a heating plate support, automatic barometric pressure detector, thermal and ionization flash detector, automatic calibration capability, and the following safety features: auto suppression of gas source at end of test, flame extinguised detection during test if gas ignition is used, overheat detection with auto shutoff of heater, auto fire detection with external fire alarm connection, tester will have lcd monochrome display or equivalent, tester will be designed with alphanumeric keyboard for data input to tester, will have automatic and manual capabilities, will store minimumof 300 test results, transfer data via rs-232c cable to a storage device and print test results to printer, will operate on 115v and 220v outlets
